About

Hi, I'm Brennan.

I'm a senior software engineer based in Brooklyn, currently looking for my next role. Most of my career has been on the parts of the product people actually see — marketing pages, client-facing apps, live news interactives. The stuff where the front end is the product.

At Squarespace I worked on squarespace.com, the company's primary acquisition channel — Core Web Vitals, a zero-regression CDN migration, and AI-powered conversion tools. Before that, at Launch by NTT Data (formerly Postlight), I led full-stack delivery for Postlight's website, Axios's Pro dashboard (including its component library), and MIT Technology Review — plus subscriptions, job boards, and legacy modernizations for other clients.

I started in newsrooms. At PBS NewsHour I shipped election coverage for the 2018 midterms and record-breaking 2020 presidential election — live results, calculators, and interactives with millions watching and no room for things to go sideways. That still shapes how I build.

On the side: a race registration platform I run end-to-end, NYC trivia tooling, music production. The work I do because I want to, not because I have to.
